Traveling With Rover

After inspecting our new local options for pet care following our move from Los Angeles, we became discouraged as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our furry family members in kennels where we had little control over their health and safety. It also didn’t sit right with us seeing other people’s pets in the same situations, likely for a lack of a better option. I began to do more research and discovered Rover, a versatile service for pet sitters, dog walkers and owners alike. Not only does Rover do background checks and provide training for their sitters, their clients and sitters are both covered by their incredible insurance each visit.

It became a personal mission of mine to become the caretaker I wish I had for our area so that people can enjoy their vacations without worrying about their beloved pets. Since we live in a small vacation spot, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful clients and their dogs. Depending on the sitter you choose, you can request drop-ins, daily walks, house-sitting in your home or boarding in the sitter’s home.

We prefer to travel with our pets, so when we’re unable to keep them where we are staying, we will book with a sitter in the area we are visiting. This gives us peace of mind that our pups are close by in the event of an emergency and we still have the opportunity to visit them (which is helpful for longer trips)! We’re so thankful to have found Rover and their top of the line service. If you’re interested in becoming a sitter, please feel free to contact us or visit this link to learn more. We hope you’re able to find the perfect sitter so you, too, can have peace of mind while you’re traveling.
