All About Jones

In honor of National Adopt A Dog Month, we’ve decided to share a little bit about each of our adopted dogs each week. Our three rescues light up our lives in different ways and we’re so thankful we chose to open our hearts and homes to them. They’re the perfect reminders that no one is perfect–but it doesn’t make you any less of an important piece to the puzzle. We’re all unique in our own individual ways; we’re all crucial pieces to this puzzle we call life. Jones’ mission in life is to remove squeakers from toys.  Whenever we bring a […]

Meet Ingrid

Meet Ingrid. Ingrid is a one year old Pit Bull that arrived to the shelter as a stray on September 14, 2017. Although weighing in at approximately 55lbs, this young girl is sweet and soft as can be. Founded in 1863, the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control now has a total of seven animal care centers that serve the Los Angeles county area. Most of the animals available are either strays or have been surrendered by their owners […]

The Tale of Todd

With his signature bat ears and love of the great outdoors, Todd is easily one of our favorite rescues. At only nine months old, Todd was transferred from a California shelter to the Seattle Humane Society, a no-kill shelter in Washington, where he met the love of his life, June. Since his adoption, this dream team loves taking early morning hikes through the woods to their favorite mountain views and snuggling up on the couch to catch up on their favorite tv shows. We love successful adoption tales and hope June and Todd‘s story will inspire you to #consideradoptionfirst. What is […]

How do you feel about the #adoptdontshop movement? While we understand why people are moved to join the #adoptdontshop movement, we do not personally […]
