Motivational Monday

Motivational Monday

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” — Henry Ford
If you’re familiar with archery, you understand that your arrow is held with you briefly in the moment. Your objective is often to hit the target with flying colors—which usually means the bullseye. Yet in order for that arrow to hit the target, you must aim. Not too low, nor too high, but aim for the realistic mark before you.

Our personal lives are no different. Although we may not have complete control of the elements (such as the wind), we do our best to succeed despite the obstacles and challenges we are presented with. In order for us to have the chance of succeeding at anything, we must aim. We must believe that we can. Because if we lack confidence in ourselves, we’re essentially already setting ourselves up for failure by aiming our arrow too low from our target.

The world we live in teaches us to doubt others, to doubt ourselves, to doubt the truth. There is no shame in believing in yourself that you are capable of the achievements you set your sights on, especially when you have God on your side. Be the difference. Set an example for the little ones silently looking up to you. Believe in yourself that you can—and you, my friend, will be right.

Happy Monday! xo
