Five Months Later

Five Months Later

Five months. It seems time has been flying by faster than we could have ever grasped. Nihmh is now nine months old and has been blossoming into the most beautiful dog I’ve ever known. She certainly takes after her Grand Champion father’s fine looks and we’re looking forward to seeing how she fully matures. These past five months have been packed with new experiences, exciting adventures and dedicated Service Dog training. As most of you know from following Nihmh’s journey on social media, Nihmh is now consistently alerting to me to medical changes ahead of time so that I can take the necessary action to keep me safe and comfortable. Nihmh absolutely LOVES working and can’t contain her excitement when I pick up her vest and gear, ready to set out for the day. It has been such a blessing to have such a perfect partner alongside of me during this painfully long, chronic illness journey. We’re so excited to continue growing together to become an unstoppable dream team!

At the beginning of the summer, we attended an Australian Shepherd meet-up at Camp Run-a-Mutt, which was an absolute blast! It has been so much fun getting to meet our Instagram friends these past few months and we can’t wait to meet-up with more of our friends for greater adventures when the temperatures start dropping. Outdoor activities are our absolute favorite–but the heat can quickly becoming overwhelming and exhausting. We can’t wait for the Autumn season to arrive (sorry Summer-lovin’ furiends) and are looking forward to sharing all of the adventures we have planned. Not to mention we have been impatiently waiting for all of our favorite apple and pumpkin treats!

We also want to take a moment to express how thankful we are for all of our lovely followers, supporters and newfound friends. It has been a blessing getting to personally know you, connecting over the dogs that make our lives whole. I am so looking forward to sharing more stories, more adventures and more experiences with you all here on the blog. Don’t forget to subscribe (at the bottom of the page!) to make sure you don’t miss out on the latest articles! We have plenty of exciting content and opportunities for you all in the coming months. Thank you for following our journey together and for encouraging us each and every day.
