A Hawaiian Dream

A Hawaiian Dream

We first introduced you to Bow Addo last month during National Adopt A Dog Month as part of our #shopwhereitmatters series and fell in love with their brand as a whole. One of the things I love most about Bow Addo is their generous donation of 20% of their sales to the Maui Humane Society–since their launch in early 2017, they’ve raised over $1,350 alone! I also have a soft spot for Hawaiian brands since my first (and only!) flight was to Kauai when I was four years old.

When we first received our package from Bow Addo, we couldn’t help but notice the incredible thought and effort they’ve put into their packaging. Our Banana Leaf Bow Tie even came inside of it’s own little enclosed container to make sure it was protected during shipment. Plus, it adds that extra element of surprise when it comes to unboxing your new bow ties. Bow ties have never been a staple in our household, but after experiencing the quality of Bow Addo’s bow ties first hand, we’ve fallen in love. I’m pretty sure this is the first of many, especially for our little guy, Jones.

We also received this gorgeous bandana called the Sunset Is My Favorite Color. If there are two prints that remind me of Hawaii most, it would be these two prints. This bandana would not have been one of our first choices–but we’re SO glad it was included in our package because we absolutely love it! If I’ve learned anything, it’s that shop owners have a knack for pairing their products with pups to really help us owners step outside of our comfort zones. What I love most about this bandana is how light and easily packable it is–all while retaining its beautiful handmade quality. Basically, I can fit WAY more Bow Addo bandanas in the dogs’ wardrobe drawer which is definitely a plus.

If you’re looking for something beautiful to treat your pup or your loved ones this season, you’ll want to stop by this wonderful Hawaiian shop. Use code THANKFUL to receive 20% off your entire order now through Monday and spread a little aloha to the ones you love most.

This post was brought to you in partnership with Bow Addo.
